By James Davies

C1 Adelaide University have gone through to the Grand Final after beating Prince Alfred OC by 66-points after, a close first half where Adelaide University lead by eight-points (PAOC: 1.5-11 to Uni: 11.11-77). Goodwood Saints will play Prince Alfred in the Preliminary Final after a tense eight-point win over St Peter’s OC, who managed to keep Goodwood to just 1.2 in the last quarter (SPOC: 8.3-51 to Saints: 9.5-59). Preliminary Final: PAOC vs Goodwood Saints C2 Henley have made it through to the Grand Final after beating Tea Tree Gully by 10-points, this was Tea Tree Gully’s first loss for the season after finishing the home and away season undefeated (TTG: 6.5-41 to Hen: 6.15-51). Sacred Heart OC will meet Tea Tree Gully in the Preliminary Final after beating Broadview in a four-point nail biter where, the lead never extended past 10-points for the game (Broad: 6.11-47 to SHOC: 7.9-51) Preliminary Final: TTG vs SHOC C3 Plympton will meet Flinders Park in the Grand Final after they beat Modbury by 19-points in the Preliminary Final (Plym: 12.12-84 to Mod: 10.5-65). It’ll be a first versus second showdown in the Grand Final at Norwood Oval this weekend after Flinders Park ended the season in top spot and Plympton in second. The game looks to be a close one after their Qualifying Final saw Flinders Park get up by four-points, this one could go either way. Grand Final: Flinders Park vs Plympton C4 SMOSH West Lakes went down in another four-point nail biter losing to Pembroke OS, in a game where the lead never exceeded seven-points at the major breaks (SMOSH: 8.4-52 to PemOS: 8.8-56). Pembroke OS will meet Adelaide University in the Grand Final, Adelaide University have gone through both the home and away season and final series undefeated and will be going in as favourites. Pembroke OS do have a good chance of causing an upset if they can play like they did in their final against SMOSH. Grand Final: Uni vs Pembroke OS C5 Despite kicking five goals to come back from being 16-points down in the last quarter Adelaide Lutheran couldn’t quite get over Salisbury going down by five-points (Sal: 10.7-67 to Luth: 9.8-62). Salisbury will play Lockleys who, have been dominant throughout the season not losing a game and finishing top. Expect Lockleys to carry this form into the Grand Final and finish the year as premiers. Grand Final: Lockleys vs Salisbury C6 After trailing the whole game and being down by ten-points at three quarter time Marion managed to come back, and record an eight-point win over Elizabeth to book a place in the Grand Final (Eliz: 6.9-45 to Marion: 7.11-53). Marion will play Adelaide University in the Grand Final who, like their C4 counterparts are yet to lose a game. Going on this form it is hard to go past Adelaide University as favourites for this encounter. Grand Final: Uni vs Marion C7 Golden Grove will be looking to get redemption against St Peter’s OC in the Grand Final after losing to them in the semi-final. Golden Grove recorded a 43-point win over Prince Alfred OC in the Preliminary Final, ending Prince Alfred OC’s season (Grove: 13.12-90 to PAOC: 6.11-47). This Grand Final looks to be a close one with a one versus two showdown with Golden Grove spurred on by their 21-point semi-final loss to St Peter’s OC and make it a tight game. Grand Final: SPOC vs Golden Grove
